Dennis Quaid and The Sharks, which specializes in “rock ‘n’ roll and country-soul” have been performing in front of thousands of fans receiving rave reviews. Dennis is not just another actor turned rock star, he is a rock star and philanthropist as well.

Dennis Quaid is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. He performs many original plus classic hits such as “Spill the Wine”, “Gloria”, and many more. Quaid says the shows are as much fun for those in attendance as they are for the band. “(The audiences) have a blast, which is all we want”.

Rock the Wish is more than just a rock concert and movie screening, it is a fundraiser to benefit Make-A-Wish® Tri-Counties. Make-A-Wish® Tri-Counties grants magical wishes to local children battling life-threatening medical conditions. CEO Pattie Mullins says, “We are so excited for this fun new event and to have Dennis Quaid and the Sharks support Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties is just amazing.”

Each year over 80 wishes are granted to children in need across Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties, and the vision is to continue to grant the wish of every eligible child with the help of community supporters and donors. When Make-A-Wish® Tri-Counties provide a child with their one true wish it unites the entire family and brings them hope, strength and joy. Wishes are powerful medicine for the soul and provide a respite from the day-to-day medical concerns and serve as a reminder to a child that anything is possible-even the future.
